The menu here is a feast for the senses. Start with the Hito, a fresh catfish served either deep-fried or grilled to perfection at just ₱215.00, that truly captures the essence of local flavors. The delightful Chicken Wings, seasoned with signature sauces of your choice for ₱105.00, are a favorite among regulars, embodying the essence of comfort food that is deliciously crunchy and utterly satisfying. Customer experiences consistently highlight the charm of Ihaw Kamayan. A patron, Moe Ordona, describes it beautifully, noting that after a long day, nothing beats the comforting spread of Filipino Kamayan Cuisine served just like in the photos—an experience well thought out, down to the pre-chopped siling labuyo for the perfect sawsawan. However, like any gem, it shines brightest when complemented by attentive service, which some reviews indicate may need a little fine-tuning, as noted by Sally Sta. Maria who mentioned fluctuations in food temperature and taste.

Despite mixed reviews on timing and consistency, praises for the restaurant's quality and customer service echo throughout many reviews, reinforcing that Ihaw Kamayan has something special to offer its guests, encouraging both new visitors and loyal fans to indulge in this flavorful journey through Filipino cuisine.

In a world of fusion and novelty, Ihaw Kamayan Cainta remains a testament to tradition, delivering Filipino fare with heart and authenticity. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to carve out some time for this incredible dining experience.

Love it here. Hope they can also add more on the menu like isaw, and others. BBQ has always been my go to here. They can seat maybe around six 4-seater tables inside then three more tables outside.

The food is good but you have to wait a lengthy amount of time for them to serve it to you.

Food and service is great but the table they have are not stable. I was eating with my kids and it was moving.

Great customer service. It's just that their food were not the same as before. The food were served cold and it does not taste as good as before. Although they prepare quick and serve the best service, we didn't enjoyed our food that much.

Nothing beats a long day of work than a nice spread of Filipino Kamayan Cuisine served just the way you see it in the photos. I've tried many kamayan restaurants before but was amazed with the quality and simplicity of what we have enjoyed in Ihaw Kamayan in Cainta. They have thought of their servings very well where they even pre-chopped the siling labuyo for every customers' sawsawan and have disposable plastic gloves ready for those who wish to keep their hands clean. Their grilled liempo is half an inch thick and a single serving is about 2½ inches wide and 7 inches long per piece. The sizzling pork sisig has more meat than fatty chunks and their ensaladang talong seamlessly matches any of their inihaw dishes. They definitely hit the ball out of the ballpark with my first dine in experience with them. We can't wait to go back again to try their other menu items!

We had a nice dining experience at Ihaw Kamayan in Cainta! We ordered the Ensaladang Mangga, which was refreshingly tangy, perfectly pairing with our grilled dishes. The Inihaw na Porkchop was grilled to perfection, tender and juicy. But the star of the show was the Special Boneless Bangus, baked with cheese and salted egg - a unique twist that added richness and creaminess to the dish. What made it even more authentic was eating with our hands, kamayan-style, with the food served on banana leaves. It added to the fun and cultural experience! The food was resonably-priced, making it a great value for the quantity and quality served. Highly recommend Ihaw Kamayan for delicious Filipino grilled food and a truly immersive dining experience!
